Default Handheld tuner?? Any ideas or input

Best hand held tuner or plug and play tuner for a ls3 A6. Just plan to put a car back for now and wanting a plug and play tune for the car. I have a local tuner that I can use to dyno tune but curious if there is any good hand held tuners to use. For me the car runs good and is fast as it sits That being said I would like for the transmission to be tuned a little and maybe optimize the motor but not wanting to get too extreme.

We offer the best option here, hands down.
The preloaded tunes will do exactly what you are asking for, while also allowing room for adjustment if needed.
Then it supports custom tuning from our CMR tuning dealers should you require more in depth tuning down the road.
Can also set the vehicle back to stock at any time, and it leaves NO trace of having been there.

Thanks

Only thing is I looked them up they don’t get the horsepower I have seen is capable of a dyno tune. Dyno tune should get you near 50rwhp with a little exhaust added. For 400 I can get a local tune done. Rather then 20 rwhp increase on a handheld

I have an C7 that is running a can 93 octane tune 11.7 seconds ...next is headers and a custom tune

You are not comparing apples to apples with a handheld canned tune to a tune done on a dyno

Now compare a mail order custom tune to one done on a dyno or a street tune and the results will be close to the same

I have the Diablo and am very happy with.In the process of getting a tune from Diablew as soon as I get my data logging done.Very happy with the canned tune but will be adding headers so a custom tune is in order.Too many people get caught up in the horsepower numbers but driveability and response is the best improvement for a daily driver. If you have 20 more HP at 5k RPMs,how many times are you going to run it there?Higher HP doesn't always mean a faster car.

That’s is the exact point I believe also. A number is a number I can’t do anything with a paper saying 500+ lol at 6k. I am not racing just want a more responsive and drivable sports car

I'd bet good money no local tuner is going to find much more than 20-25 rwhp on an otherwise stock C7.
I've also seen custom 'dyno tunes' that dont address basics like max throttle opening functions, etc.

Thanks

If you are just after a plug and play option, i3 platinum is ideal.
if you want a monitor with gauges, etc, check out the t2 platinum.

Thanks

Yes, I can definitely get you hooked up... http://www.diablewtune.com/package_deals.html

Please send me an email at -- diablo DOT help AT gmail DOT com -- with the year, model, engine of your GM vehicle, any mods done to it, what octane gas you use, etc.. and I can send you a loooong email with info about the programmers, the custom tuning, the process, etc.

Thanks!

Hey southofHoustonVette .... you need to erase/delete some of your PM's in your account... tried to send you a PM to let you know I sent you an email reply to your message, and the forum says your PM inbox is full - exceeded its storage limit and you can not get any new PM's... so clean that up bud, so you can get messages on here...

Default Tuner modes

Hi Guys,
i just got a 14 C7, old owner says it’s tuned with
diablo sport tune now. My question is are all the driving modes still available, are they all modified? Or is touring still touring? Track now super track?
thanks Jim
