Default ZIP-TIE or something like it...

will it work w/a c6 since there are 2 air filters i'm told.Will a Z06 filter work??

Yes. I just modified mine last week. You don't actually need the zip ties because of the way the filters are held in. Simply cut the top off the air filter covers leaving enough of the sides so that the spring clips still work. Once you get into it, it will be obvious. I was advised to retain the large cover to prevent water from leaking in between the hood and front facia and dripping on the now exposed filters.

so,I want to cut the top of the box or the bottom in order to get the AIR but NOT the water from the hood??thanks.I like that Z06 filter,too!It's HUGE!!

It's pretty much self explainitory(sp) once you see it. There are individual covers on each filter and a single large cover over both.
