Default Halltech Stinger

I received my Halltech Stinger earlier this week. Installing it took less time than removing the factory parts. A very well engineered piece. My seat of the pants dyno tells me it has made a real difference in performance. I get rubber easily on the 3/4 shift now.

Spoke to Jim Hall about the soon to be released cold air addition. I can't wait. Thanks Jim.

Looks like our Cold Air Screen mod will be ready sooner than 8-15.

Hopefully we'll have the first 20 out the door in about a week.

Instructions will accompany the revamped GM part. We will be installing the screens at Halltech so that there is no cutting or chopping required to get hurricane category 5 air into the engine bay.

We will show you where to relocate your OAT (Outside Air Temp) sensor directly next to the SSM filter for instant underhood temp monitoring on your dash. The beauty of this setup is that the underhood temp is in parity with the outside temperature all the time, so relocation still gives you the outside air temp, but also reflects the underhood temps.

Jim

What is involved on the install jim? How long will it take the average person to install it or should I take it to a shop? I would like to order one. Also does it have the thing you were talking about that prevents rain from entering?

just ordered mine. When do you expect to ship them jim.I get so excited adding something each time.My next mod after this is cam and tune in a few weeks.I have a 6spd coupe with your stinger and bullets and the car sounds and runs like a monster already. After the cold air, tune and cam this should be a much different beast.Should be able to stay within a few car lengths in the 1/4 with the new Z after those mods.

2 minutes to take off the stock unit. 5 minutes to install the Stinger. No cutting or damaging your C6 at all.

Here is our installation video link:

All backorders have shipped as of Friday.
