The FAQ section is a great place to look for general questions. I was able to download the 2006 manual and the NAV manual so I can learn about my new toy before taking delivery. Counting the days to 2/6!

Trying to figure out if the interior lights are ON by the dimmer switch or ON by normal processes has led me to a fool-proof method of determination: In your relatively dark garage, get in the car, close the door...the footwell and other interior lights should remain on. Start the engine...if the footwell lights slowly dim to OFF once the engine is started, they are operating normally. If they remain ON after the engine is started, then they are turned ON with the dash dimmer switch.
I have had some strange things happen with the interior lights when the car failed to recognize that the FOB left the car (three beeps), and I then re-entered the car with the FOB.
And, NO, I do not want to bring back the key.
