What are the specs for the cam in the LS2 ?

Also, i believe i read that the Rods in the LS2 are cast ; I assume to reduce weight. But, how durable are these compared to forged ?

Same cam as the 2001 Z06. I forget the numbers. Pretty weak, all told.

the rods are not cast, they are sintered metal, the particle board of metal. For cost, not weight. I doubt the weight changes significantly between a cast and forged part, just the grain structure.

They are safe to 6900rpm, no more.
