Default Wheel Alignment Shop - North Jersey

Hi gang....I'm looking to have the alignment on my '05 Z51 checked & reset if necessary. Leery of any Dealers or the highway tire shops. Can anyone recommend a really good shop in the Passaic County/Bergen County area that has good 'Vette experience?

Thanks,
Dave

I know Kerbeck's but they're a bit too far for me. Looking for a recommended shop in North Jersey.....but thanks.

I would like to know too. ETD on 46 in Mountain Lakes is supposedly pretty good.

Yeah...Kerbeck is about a 2-2 1/2 hour drive from you. Hardly worth the trip for an alignment. Unless you make a weekend out of it.

Looking for the same thing. In doing research, Euro-Tire on Route 46 in Fairfield seems to have a excellent reputation. Any Forum members have experience with this shop?

If you go to a dealer, the old Malcolm Konner dealership in Paramus, RT 17 does good work on Corvettes. They service allot of Vettes.

Its called Paramus Chevrolet now.

I agree...but I was also told (by someone within the dealer) that their alignment machine isn't the most accurate.

Spoke to Chuck today from Corvettes of Westchester. For an 4 wheel alignment, he highly recommended "Fred's Auto Repair" in Briarcliff Manor, NY. Chuck mentioned that Fred does a great job, especially with Performance Alignments.

Briarcliff Manor is just across the TZ and about 15 mins up 9A right after the bridge so a relatively short trip.

Hey guys....

Freddy has been doing my alignments on everything from 06 ZO6's back to the C1's of the 50's and 60's.....He has all the proper equiptment and raced Corvettes years ago......He can do a basic alignment, or for the guys that want more handling and preformance, adjustments geared towards round track style racing and stuff like that. Everyone is always happy with Fred and he has more Corvette alignment experience than anyone in the area because I have sent him every car I've ever worked on that needed an alignment for better than 10 years now......

You can feel safe with him....and he's a really nice guy to boot!

Freds Auto Repair 914-762-1131

He is on North State Road in Briarcliff, N.Y.

Hope this helps.

Chuck,

"Fred" personally does the alignment? He should be the one we ask for?

Thanks again

Thanks for the referral. Euro Tire in Fairfield, NJ has a good reputation, but Fred's sound like they have more specific experience with 'Vettes. I think I'll try them.....will also give me an excuse to visit a friend up that way!
