Ok, in a few weeks I am taking my stock A6 C6 to the strip for the first time. Any suggestions as to tire pressure, traction control, braking, launch rpm, etc.? Wife will also be making first drag strip runs. Should be a hell of a day.

Do a quick burnout,Try to avoid the water box,Traction control off,put it in sport mode,26psi rears,32psi fronts,i would leave active handling on just in case the car gets out of shape,Launch at 1700 rpms.I also have the A6.Good luck to you and your wife.

When I ran my 2005 C6 Vert A4/3.15 I had the rear tires at 26#, the front tires at 34-35#.

I turned TC OFF and AH OFF, but if I were to do it again I would only turn TC OFF, I would leave AH on to help save my butt if something went wrong.

I did a fairly long burnout (5 seconds) to heat the BASE runflats.

At the light I just floored it off idle.

This was good for a 1.92 60' on the way to a 12.57@110.67

I now have a 2007 C6 A6 also and I would do it exactly the same except I would have TC OFF, but AH ON.

AH will not interfere unless you get sideways badly.
