If your car has the F55 option or MRC do not take the stock shocks off! F55 is an expensive option and a very good one as well .Bilsteins would not be an improvement in ride, handling etc. If you do take the MRC shocks off and want to sell them, drop me a PM...

all they need to do is put a $2 resistor from Radio shack in the shock harnes to fool the computer into thinking the shocks are still hooked up. That worked like a charm when I put bilsteins on my C5 that had the ajustable shock option. Of course by getting rid of the Factory shocks you will not be able to adjust shock settings anymore. You paid good money for that option too bad you want to delete it. But if you track the car the Bilsteins will actually be alot Better.

i went to radio shack and they have allot of resistors.will i need to bring the sensor off the shock to see which one fit ?

I doubt cheating the current version of the F55 will be so easy as guessing what resister to install. The BCM also looks at steering posistion, wheel spin, ABS etc. Your far better off in terms of track performace with the f55 than with anything less of 3K set of coilovers. And even that is debatable...
