Tony's Corvette Shop Gaithersburg MD...
Thinking about header, x-pipe w/cats and dyno tune. Tony's is one of the tuners I'm considering as they are located only 4 hrs. from Pittsburgh. Looking for feedback. What type of work have you had done there? Are you satisfied with what they did?
Any info. is appreciated.

They have a mixed reputation, are fairly expensive. Other local choices are Performance Specialties in Glen Burnie, MD, or F-Body Central in Arbutus, MD (near BWI airport). Both have Mustang dynos.

I had exactly that done, and am completely satisfied with their work.
They do good work and can advise you on your choices of mods.
Not cheap, but worth the cost.

His labor rate is only $75 or $79
He knows his stuff and i wouldn't trust anyone else- he is a straight forward business type guy but has everything you need to fix your car

Tony, and his chief of tuning (Keith Green), are (a) very, very conscientious guys who take the time to understand what you want and how you drive, and (b) will honestly tell you up front whether or not your objectives can be achieved and at what cost (both $$ and in driveability).
They've tuned several cars in the Northern Virginia Corvette Club (mine and Gmoller's included) and other than they are not the cheapest place in the area I have never heard a negative word about them. Their dyno setup is state-of-the-art and it is a real treat to watch them at work.

I just sent them one of my C6 Z06 supercharger systems to install on a customers car. The customer seems quite impressed with them.

You pulled this post from the dead. Not sure where you’re located, but I take the drive to Race Proven Motorsports in New Castle, DE, if I need performance work or tuning on my C6Z.

I used them last year after I busted-up some of the front suspension after hitting a big pothole at speed. I also had them do some mechanical maintenance and trace down an issue for me. They know their stuff, and don't diagnose by simply swapping parts. They have a decent backlog and things took longer than expected, so it is not the place if time is of the essence. If you're in the area, or need restoration / customization they are a good choice. For run of the mill work, I would not drive past some of the shops mentioned in this thread to use them.
