Default Have Vararam - Do I Need Headers???

I have an LS2 with Borla Stingers, stock H-pipe, stock tune and soon to be installed Vararam.

My question is do I NEED headers?

Need and Want are different things. I might go with headers and long tubes in the future...but for right NOW will the Vararam be fine all by itself?

With all of the extra air coming into the engine, I understand that headers will help get that air out...but do I NEED them?

Any help / thoughts / insight / recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Most all bolt ons are fine stand alone items that show mild to moderate increase in performance or sound. In the short, no, you don't NEED headers. They were the first mod I did because I love the $ per HP gain and the sound, but check out around your area about emissions inspection if you do decide to go with them Some places are harder to get the cars passed than others.

LTs are the single largest BOLT on HP increaser.

When you do get the LTs a dyno tune is highly recomended to make the whole package work at its best.

It is not only the air coming in but the air going out as well and the smallest air opening is the limiting factor.
