I recently bought a 2005 C6 and absolutely love it, but I would like to put a new exhaust and headers on it? I looked at the Borla systems and hear good things about it. I want to get something that has a solid sound to it, but don't want to create an overbearing sound. What do you recommend for this? Also, would it be good to also get a cold air intake as a part of this system?
My Borla Stingers have the muscle car sound w/o being overbearing. I don't have headers, which naturally would make them louder. You might want to start with the headers and then decide if you need the added volume of a cat back. Good Luck!
The "Advanced Search" is your friend. Put in "Headers" or "Exhaust" and "Title Only" and you'll come up with lots to read. Cold air is great if you don't mind cutting up the shroud. If you have the money, get a tune to take advantage of your mods. Good luck.
I just put on LG headers, they are well worth the $$$
very easy to install, fit perfect and sound bad *** with my corsa sports..
I can't wait to hear them with my Vortech installed..
oh yea, this made a huge difference and I only driven it 18 miles so far, so the computer hasn't totally learned the new flow..

does texas have emissions testing? If so, can you pass with headers?
