I hit the track on Saturday (Ennis TX)
07 Z51 manual stock + Halltech CAI + minor tune
My launches were pretty bad, and will take more practice, overall I am happy until I get the headers installed.

60' 2.107
330 5.552
1/8 8.328
MPH 89.50
1000 10.695
1/4 12.688
MPH 113.41

Had a LOT of fun.

Great runs. Once it cools off I would expect 10's.

Very nice! What a differece in the DA. Time for a rev limiter raise, taller tire, or a cam/raised limiter. You probably would have hit low 11's if not for that.

You can see in the 1/8th the car is trucking, and the shift into 4th caused the car to probably lose a bit of mph/et on top.

GREAT times either way.

It short shifted into 4th my fault I have traped 125 in 3rd so if I can make another pass and put it all together we shall see. I was not able to make another pass that night the lines were long and after a 2hr wait the battery died

A 11.1 is not a low 11???

How did this happen to you?

It seemed like this happened to me every run. Why is this, how can it be avoided?

Tune (shift point)

You can run is S mode and once it shifts into 3rd tap the - and it will stay in 3rd.

Yeah I was in S mode but not tap.

Oh is that because it wont downshift at those speeds but it still goes into tap mode to hold the gear? Is that right?

Makes sense, wish I thought of that at the track.

You can run your stock fronts on the rear and get the 295 35 18 BFG's
or better yet a cheap set of 17's and the taller 295 45 17 MT.

But remember I have est ~480RWHP ~520RWTQ and the low down TQ of the N20 is what gets the ET

But you have one big advantage your pwr stays on during the shifts, I choose to turn the N20 off through the shifts to try and keep the trans longer

Chevy lol

Bur seriously the vett has a full hoop 11.50 is the tracks limit but on street race nights it a run what you brung but be safe about it thing to keep racing off the streets the rules are a bit relaxed but you need a lic insurance registration and street tires.

The consensous at our track is Vetts are slow most run 13-14 I have never even seen stock C6 Z06 break out of the 12's so they dont even look twice at my stock apearing/sounding c6.
