Cool, I cant wait! After I do the install I have to drive three hours for the reprogram before I can really go for some WOT runs. At least the ride home will be fun

Easy change in HP Tuners..... drop the $500 and you won't regret it. Split the cost with 4 buddies and have tuning parties (my neighbors just love that). Actually not really kidding, it's a ton of fun.
Sorry for the hijack. I'm pumped up about it since I just got word they just came out with the latest version of HP Tuners that allows me to read my Ford truck too (and clear its stupid codes).

I have been wanting to do this myself for awhile now, one questions though. I currently have a custom tune that works great and I dont want to screw it up. Can I flash the fix for the new gear swap and not affect the custom tune I have now?

You bet. You download your file into your computer, make the changes to the gear ratio settings and load it back in. That's the beauty of it!
I am really looking forward to takiing my new c6 down. I bought a c5 in 02vert 6spd that had 400 miles on it when I first raced it and ran 12.8 @ 111. By the time I got rid of the car with a well prepared track I ran a best of 12.55 @ 113.26 bone stock and I pull the air filter on the run flats. I thought I had a "special" car but I dynoed it and only got 308hp best to the wheels. I am convinced that I will run very close to an 11.9 with this c6 in stock form. I am thinking low 12's consistently but I feel I will get a best of 11.9 with it. I have been drag racing for 15 years and was racing AWD Eclipses at 11.1 @ 126 but I got tired of fixing them. It will be a test to do it and as soon as the weather clears up north here I am going to the track. I have 400 miles now on this car.

Actually my C6 Mn6 was slow until I reached 5000 miles. I think 400 miles, you will be short of your goal. You will see the difference after the break-in period.

My 06 m6 z-51 vert has definately gotten stronger as the miles have passed. Stock it dynoed at 361 and ran in the mid 12's at 114 or so. With all the mods listed previously it dynos at 462 RWHP and runs in the 11.4's and over 125 mph on run flats. It's a blast!
...Please post the slips. You mentioned in another thread with pictures from the Richmond event that one showed your car. Please post a link to this thread and identify the car....

Do you plan to post the time slips? If you lack the resources to post them, email them to me at hranger75 at verizon dot net and I'll post them to this thread for you.

I want to be like you. After talking to my mechanic it revealed to me that a cam could do wonders. I know that you are a happy camper. By the way I just had my dyno tune, Melrose, VaraRam, ported intake TB. 378 rwhp/366rwtq. I am very happy with that since the VaraRam does'nt show anything on the dyno.
My 60 ft still sucked. I ran a 12.44 at 114, the guy in the mustang actually laughed at me when we were staging because he knew he could beat a corvette, but to his suprise I GOT THE LIGHT! I know my vette has a low 12 or high 11 in her but I need to master driving it.!

Congrats. Your car sounded great going down the track today. Just wish they would have prep'd the track a little better
Had some good air last night, DA was 1038 which is great for us in April. Several buds got PRs. I enjoyed the good air and track prep and tweaked my tune, added a couple of degrees and leaned it out very slightly. I got a 1.663 60, which is a PR but didn't power shift so only got a 11.87@117.70 on that run, not a record. I didn't trap below 118 all night so the tweaks were helpful.
If you guys are on the fence on buying HP Tuners just do it. Scanning your runs and making tweaks is great fun.
