I did a search but didn't see anything on this so here is my problem:
When I am stopping, especially while sitting in traffic, right before the C6 stops i feel a vibration. It is not coming through the steering wheel but I seem to feel it through the seat. The pulses are always the same duration regardless of the speed. I don't notice anything when coming to a complete stop from 15 mph and faster only when I am stopping from slow speed.
My C6 is as automatic, stock tires, wheels and brakes.
Does it feel kinda like a bucking motion with light brake pressure? Your rotors are most likely slightly warped thats why you dont feel it in the steering wheel. Most of the time its just the frt but it can be both frt and rear.
It sounds like brake pad material build up on your rotors. On an open road run up to about 90 and do about 3 hard stops. That will probably wear off the pad build up and fix your problem.

I do hard stops on a regular basis, so that is not it, also there is no squealing.
It is not warped rotors because the pulses are 5-6 per second and the car only moves about a foot. I can almost make it vibrate sitting still.
It's extremely unlikely you have 'warped' rotors. Certainly try bedding your brakes. I wouldn't just go up to 90 and slam on your brakes....here's a link with information on how to properly bed your brakes:
Inspect the rotors on both sides looking for build-up, scoring and possibly even cracking. You might try scrubbing your rotors with a red (delicate) Scotch Brite pad and possibly use some disc cleaner as well. If you see 'excessive' buildup on your rotors you may have glazed your brake pads (although I think you'd notice that at higher speeds as well).
Ultimately, if the problem persists, take it to the dealership. Good luck.

If you park your car after a hard stop that got the braking system very hot, the rotor will cool down unevenly because of the added heat capacity underneath the caliper. This can cause warpage and/or additional transfer of brake pad material. My guess is this pulsation is a brake issue and it is probably related to the explanation above.
I would try to bed in the rotors and pads again (several hard stops followed by a cool down period while driving) to see if that solves the problem.
