Default will it really be that loud...?

So i have been watching videos on youtube and i cant get the feel for how loud my new exhaust will actually be. Right now i have a maggie with stock manifolds/cats but strait pipe all the way back. no mufflers or resonators. I am having a set of kooks headers catless off road xpipe and some B&B bullets installed next week. Now i know it will be loud but will it really be that much louder then what i already have? thanks guys

I don't think there will be a big difference in volume.......your stock cats are muffling the sound (to some degree) now...just like the Bullets will do on your new setup. Drone (with the Bullets and headers) might be a problem. I loved my Bullets until I added headers.
The pressure wave was so bad, it gave me and my passengers a headache everytime....I love a good sounding exhaust, but it was unbearable. Good luck !!!

BTW: You might want to reconsider going catless...........I know a few people that have tried it, but couldn't stand the smell.

I'm wondering why you're so hung up on being loud. I'm sure your out of high school, your more than likely over 30 and loud for the sake of being loud is just that. It's doesn't mean powerful or cool. You've got a nice car, why not put an exhaust system on the car that you can drive down the highway and have a conversation with someone and hear your CD's without the volume turned all the way up. With a maggie and kooks you're making 500rwhp so you're pently powerful enough; I would think you'ed want to be somewhat stealthy in your approch to performance. Most of us do. I'll bet you'll get tired of loud real quick.
Just my opinion. Other than that, what ever floats your boat, go for it.
I've got an 05 C6 with a forged 427, making over 500 rwhp. it's got kooks and magnaflows. It's got a slight loop at idle, great sound at high R's. NO drone at highway speeds.

I could be wrong (hard to believe.......I know) but I don't see how headers and Bullets will be louder then
stock manifolds, cats and no mufflers. I also don't see how you can stand to drive it now........I ran my car for 2 minutes with the same setup you have now
IT WAS LOUD. My Bullets and header combo (with hi flo cats) was quieter.

George........ I know Bullets and headers sound fantastic, but I don't know how you can stand it with the A6 (or are you deaf already?????).

Yes, you will contribute to more anti-noise laws that hurt enthusiast with reasonable aftermarket exhaust systems.
