cost for engine swap
I am looking to get an idea of the cost to swap an engine and suspension from an 07 to an 08.

Why not just install the L92/L76 head mod? You're just within single digits as far as rwhp of the LS3. Eventually, this would probably be my next mod. If you're going to swap at least go with the 427 shortblock.

Thanks for the fast responses. Let me clairify; I have an wrecked '07 and a '08 that the engine was stolen out of (bought it after). I may use the '07 as a donor car for the engine and suspension to go into the '08. I am trying to get an idea of what labor should be for the swap. So far the range for the same work criterior has varied from 4000 to over 10,000. I want a top notch job but don't want to have to pay that corvette tax. The '07 has all the necessary parts so should be mostly labor. On that same note I have performed many engine swaps myself in years gone by when you had a ton of room to work in but now just looking in the engine bay of my C5 (2000 vert) I don't think I want to tackle it. Any comments?
