Default Need help with header parts!

About to install a set of used kooks headers/catless xpipe and mids...

Unfortunately, I have no gaskets and no bolts.

What bolts and what gaskets do I need to use with the kooks 1 3/4 headers?

Thanks!!

Just reuse the stock stuff. I went ahead and put on new OEM gaskets, but everything I've read says that was just a waste of money, the used stuff seals up fine.

For any project like this, all you need to do is send a PM or call Gene Culley. He will look up the part numbers for you and price them.

I bought header bolts from him because I didn't want to clean the locktite off the old bolts. The new bolts come with locktite pre-applied.

What exactly do you mean by the locktite? I am not sure what you mean... what has to be done to the old bolts?

I might order bolts... if its going to save time with the install. Let me know, thanks!

Locktite is a "threadlocking" compound - keeps the bolts from backing themselves out and loosening. Header bolts are notorious for coming loose.

Use the stock gaskets over again; they work best. Do not use the gaskets Kooks provides.

Torque the bolts to 18' lbs and they wont back out. If you dont have a TQ wrench, buy one.
