Bassani Installed
I had my Bassani headers and AFT Cat system with high flow cats installed today. I will say its a good quality system. I'm a little disapointed with the drone. Once your at cruising speed its theres zero drone. From a stop under normal acceleration theres drone until you get to 3rd gear, and from then on theres zero. Bassani also sells resanators which I'm told eliminates the drone altogether. I shall see. I'll post up pics in a few days of the install. The tech had to modify a few things to make the headers fit right.

Could you possibly make a video of your exhaust set up? i have not heard too many bassani with headers videos.
Also last question is where did u purchase the headers, and who did the install? i am thinking of bringing my car to http://vincihighperformance.com in orlando FL for purchase/install/dyno tune.

Just installed mine (thanks MarylandSpeed for the deal) and I have no drone at cruise once I'm in 6th, which is perfect. During acceleration you can hear the exhaust which was the whole point of replacing the stock system.

I currently have the Bassani AFT Cat system and I am looking into getting the bassani headers soon as well. Did you do the full exhaust all at once or did u have the catback system prior to installing the headers? I am wondering how much worse the drone is compared to just the catback system.

I will make a video as soon as I can. All I have is a digital cam with a movie feature, so I'm not sure how good the quality will be. Vinci High Performance is where I got my set up from. I had a local garage up here do the install. As for the drone....cruising at 60 there is no drone at all. When accelerating normally there is some drone in the first 3 gears, after that it goes away. If you stand on it, people will know your coming!

I had BASSANI on my 05.Best sounding system out there and pricing was great!Less then a grand for a new exhaust.Please post pictures of the tips.How bad was it with the headers needing some adjusting to fit??

I will post the pics hopefully tomorrow. It wasn't to bad to do the header install. The tech had to cut off one of the fins around the trans, adjust the trans lines a little, and grind a little off the frame in the front so one of the tubes wouldn't be contacting anything. Much eaiser than my GTO.
