Default Kooks Headers and Cross-over x pipe

Hello guys , i have an 08 C6 with NPP exhaust and bought the kooks headers and complete set up crossover x-pipe which is 3" all the way to the exhaust, I'm not changing the exhaust and I want to know how this system will fit because they told me my current NPP pipes are 2 1/2 not 3". Will this fit? I know a lot of you guys like the NPP exhaust and have put 3" systems but i dont know if you had to modify it in anyway connecting it to the stock Please advise

Your NPP exhaust is 2 1/2 inches. There is a Kooks 3 x 3 midpipe that necks down to 2 1/2 inches at the very end, which will connect to any 2 1/2 inch cat-back. If you got the Z06 specific midpipe, then it is 3 inches all the way, becasue the Z06 exhaust systems are 3 inches in diameter.
