Need help, car will not start..
It started about twoo weeks ago. I came home from Christmas vacation and had my only key and fob inside the car. The battery died and I was locked out. I had a duplicate key made at the dealer and bought a battery charger/tender to charge the battery. The day I got into the car it started right up while I had it plugged in. Yesterday and today after I had the tender on for about a day and a half, the car will not start. It will go to ACC mode and the display shows the voltage at no higher than 8.6 volts. It will also flash NO FOBS DETECTED when I try start the car. I assumed that the battery is bad after showing the voltage and being charged fo almost two days but whhy would that explain the car not seeing the fobs? WTF? Anyone please let me know if I can try something easy before I have this thing towed to the dealer. This is an 06' M6 with 7500 miles.
