Default Brake Pad Rotor Combo Z51?

I am going to replace the Pads and Rotors on my 08 Z51 Equipped C6 and was looking for ideas/opinions on what pads and rotors to use. I am looking for a improvement over factory OEM but the car is not tracked or abused on the street, although it may see some dragstrip time in the future? Any suggestions? The car has 22000 miles on it and the rotors are looking like waves in the ocean. Original owner did a 8000 mile Senic mountain trip from Florida to the Pacific NW.

So, in reality you don't need more stopping power because you don't race it a lot, right? That the case, the stock rotors are good. Or you can go DBA rotors from someone like forum vendor Atomic Autosports. Pads can range anywhere from PFriction, Carbotech, Hawk, Porterfield, etc. I've got the street porterfields on stock rotors. Works really well for me.

Street Porterfields, are they the R4S? Did they work better than the Z51?

Looking at several rotor setups, AC Delco Durastop front PN 18A2429. I am unsure on the rear, 1 catalog shows a PN177-1001 and another shows PN177-0925. I also found Magnum rotors from g force brake in Canada, set of 4 cross drilled Z51 for $295.00. Thought it was to good to be true, probably a made in china special. According to the website, www.magnumbrakes.com they are manufactured in house, cnc machined with the highest quality materials to exact oem specs. Any feedback on these?
I am leaning toward Hawk HPS pads.

I've heard good things about the DBA 4000 series, auto any thing.com

I've added Stoptech SS lines so far, westcoastcorvette.com, and a good DOT 4 fluid

I've used Hawk HP Plus pads on my track/streetable car, work great, w/ slightly more dust

I used GM Ceramics on my original Z51 rotors. Worked fine and got rid of the brake dust problem. I don't race the car, so track brake performance wasn't a consideration. These pads are fine for street use.

SS lines, Z51 sized slotted DBA 4000 series rotors, hawk HPS pads, little more dust than base pads, autoanything.com free shipping and plenty of other choices, good thing for seat belts otherwise I'd have nose prints on the windshield!!!!

Yes, street Porterfield, R4S. my requirement was to work as well as the Z51 with less dust. wasn't certain about ceramics, therefore, didn't choose them.

dark, I just checked autoanything; they don't list any dba rotors for corvettes (only baer, ebc, powerslot).
