It was probably the normal exhaust smell and I'm just paranoid because of the clutch fluid.....I still haven't had a chance to swap it and I'm doing it tomorrow I think that is just making me crazy lol I asked my friend who is a mechanic and he smelled it and said it is normal exhaust and I'm a paranoid freak lol

May '06, I'm the proud owner of an '06 GTO. LS2, 6 speed man. Noticed a burning type smell after a WOT burst. Put it down to paint still burning off or exhaust heat etc. Hey it's a new car. July '08, '06 C6 coupe with 13,000 miles. Jar down real hard on it, same smell. Techs say normal. Does your LS2 stink?
