Sure, but which of the following do you want to give up.
Initial bite of the oem HD pad.
Feed back of the Oem HDpad,
Increased working temp of the OEM HD pads on the Z51,GS, Z06 pad.
If all three, then the inexpensive Duralast ceramic pads is what you are looking for.

If you want a quality aftermarket pad I recommend the Carbotech 1521 pad. A low dust pad that is rotor friendly and 100% non-corrosive dust will not harm your paint or wheels. This pad also contains NRS technology. Carbotech uses NRS technology on all C4, C5, C6 & C7 front and rear brake pads.
