Tune test?
After reading about the fact that GM will not cover a car that has something other than the std. GM tune. I have a concern.
Last May 2009 we bought a used 2007 base vette from a dealer in LA. The car had less than 5000 miles when we bought it. We got it for a very good price and we bought the extended warrenty. In spite of the low miles, I had 2 concerns, it had a Magnaflow Exhaust (nicely done catback) and the rear tires showed a lot of wear for 4747 miles. I accepted that because of the price and thought that someone had switched wheels with a higher mileage car. (This dealership sells a lot of Vettes)
To get to the point, is there any way I can easily determine, without going to a dealer, if anyone put a "tune" on the car??? It is an automatic and has no noticable shifting or drivability issues.
