Am i the only one with oil in my intake?????
This is my throttle body when i removed it and the intake to port i found some oil in it. Not like a quart or anything but enuf to pi** a guy off. I put in a catch can today,,,is this what most guys are doing or am i the only one with oil in my intake and have a bigger issue. '09 LS3. Be safe, paul

Natural byproduct of the PCV system. it happens.
Catch-cans work well for many guys, but are not fool-proof.
I personally disable the PCV system by plugging the intake tract holes, run a valve-cover breather and vent the crankcase to the road via vacuum lines.
This is not smog compliant at the least, but it keeps oil out of the engine. I save all of the OEM parts to revert back if the smog checks ever return to my area. YMMV.
