Default Where are my fuses? Just read it please.

Ok my cig lighter went out. I know the fuses are under the pass side carpet. I pulled the carpet and can see the fuses and see where the cig lighter fuse is supposed to be but it isnt there. Is it that capped black box over to the right? All the other fuses are exposed but the cig, aux power and a few others are nowhere to be found. I tried pulling on that black box/ cover to the right but it wont come off and feels like Im pulling the whole thing out.

Hope Im not the only one who cant get to them.

Thanks guys.

.....have you looked in the fuse box in the engine compartment adjacent to the battery?

Ok I got it. Its the little black cover on the right like I thought. I just had to use a screwdriver to pry it off as it was really on there.

My problem is that my obdII isnt reading when I hook up a scanner. Is there a fuse that goes out commonly that affects that?

Your scanner must be CAN capable. I'm betting you have an older scanner.
