Default Tune for a Thermostat change??

I bought a 160 deg thermostat for my 2007 ls2 corvette. I dont want to mess up the Amazing Tune that LG did. will a hand held allow me to just chang the fan setting to match the lower setting?

Check with Hyperteck (sp) I hear they have a unit that you can plug in (under the dash) to make changes ..for a gear change, or shift points, and to change when the fans go on & off but it costs app $500... a lot of $$ just to reprogram you fan to go on sooner...

That being said, you are right, in wanting to change you fan settings, the 160 T Stat is a wast of time if you don't change your fans to work with it...

yes, and this IS the wonderful thing about having a Diablo sport predator, you can even save the custom tune to the tool or from a disc and install/remove any tune at will! read codes make adjustments etc...etc....

Why not just drive by a shop and tell them you only want the fan temperatures changed. A shop should not charge much to do just that.

Thanks for all the input guys. I found a shop that can just tune the temp change, and leave the lg tune intact!
