Are the rear C6s any better then the C5s?

Assuming there is an error in the specs for the rotors for the '98s on the Corvette Action Center website.

http://corvetteactioncenter.com/spec...8/98specs.html

All the rest of the C5 and C6 fronts are 1.26 thick, except that year.

The specs for diameter seems to float back and forth between 12.6 and 12.8 for all C5s.

Kinda makes you lose faith in all the other specs too.

I wanted to know about the C6 calipers (rears) not the rotors.
I heard the Z51s have a smaller piston.
& the fronts DO have thicker webs or ribs that make them more rigid.

The dealer is saying they are not the same. They did not know why.

they may have different part numbers, but they are identical. Believe me, I work with several sets on a daily basis. if you go to any aftermarket auto parts stores website, you will also see that they have the same part number for both.
