Default 06 Z06 Driveline help

Just bought a modified 06 Z06 with triple disk carbon fiber clutch. Clutch makes LOTS of noise (more than triple is supposed to) and EXTREMELY difficult to take off smoothly without stalling or taking off violently. I have contacted some people including clutch manufacturer and they say pilot bearing or prop shaft bearings are worn out. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I saw a thread from a while ago that was talking about the difference in the BMW and GM rubber couplings in the torque tube. I was wondering if anyone has determined definitely if there is a difference or not because I intend to replace them while Im in there and would love to save some cash if it wont cause any problems.

Thanks,
Josh
