Anyone ever remove the pump without actually disconnecting the high pressure hose from the rack and pinion???
As in get the pulley off while the pump is still attached to the rack and pinion.

Nice. Will have fun with this today. I still cant pinpoint my leak. My rack and pinion is dry, NO fluid inside either. Initially my SHORT (OLD DESIGN OEM) high pressure hose was soaked, so I thought it was the culprit, Now I am thinking my actual POWER steering pump maybe the issue.
Will replace the pump and see what happens. I hope its not my rack and pinion...

The new one make the install easier as you have more length to play with but it's still APIA. I did mine in the driveway this past weekend, took a little while to figure out how the new line routed, but it seems I finally figured it out. If I was anyone thinking about doing it, I'd change the line and the pump at the same time. I did the pump about a year ago and probably damaged the hose and now the hose was leaking. By the way I did change out to the Turn one pump and would recommend it, by the way pay the extra money for the pulley, it make the install of the bolts easier, still APIA, especially when you figure out you did something wrong and need to undo.
PS. From looking at the bag it looks like the new P/N is 15903240 for the hose. hope this helps
