Replacing Battery in Tire Sensor

I noticed a thread about replacing the battery in the C5 tire sensors. Has anyone tried this on the C6 sensors? I have a dead sensor and I'd like to try. I have a dremel and plenty of epoxy.

Its probably doable if you don't mangle the Sensor. Worst
case is a new unit for $35.00. I'm curious as to how it works out for you.
Please let us know.

I guess I'll use the thread for the C5 TPMS battery replacement. I just hope the battery is still on the right side.

I'll post photos if I am successful.
