Default Help. Service Traction Control

Give some back ground. 3 weeks ago my Service Active Handling warning comes on. Take it to the dealership, have to wait a week to get the parts. They do the TSB. Everything is fine and then all of the sudden Service Traction Control goes off. I was 4 miles from the dealership so I take it in. They blame a lose power battery cable. All they did was remove the cables, never looked at it. Its been fine, but I have only driven around 20 miles since. However the problem is I only have TC on and TC off. I no longer have CDM or TC and AH off. What is the cause of this. I have no other lights. Could the code still be in the computer and not allowing me to go to CDM? Even though the code is not showing.

I removed both battery cables for 2 hours, still could not get to CDM. Went and bought a scanner. Cleared the stored code and still no CDM. Any help would be appreciated. I rarely if ever use CDM, but I want my car working the way it is supposed to be.

Default Traction Control/Active Handling problem

The recall on this issue addressed the connector used inside the steering column--has the dealer performed the procedure called-for in the recall?

Yes. This happened a week after the recall was performed.

If you don't have full functionality (through all the mode configurations including all nannies shutoff) the car hasn't "been fine." If you can replicate the problem for the dealership they should be able to fix it. You would have seen some different warnings but FWIW, are all your tire pressure sensors registered and working properly? I hope it's something simple. Good luck and let us know what happens.

I think it is the TPMS. Both right sides are not showing anything. I think the PCM dropped them when the battery was disconnected. Guess I have to make a trip to get the TPMS reset.

Well 2 dead wheel sensors replaced, TPMS reset and CDM back.
