TPMS sensors
Normally when tire pressure sensors are removed and remounted, the shop will often do a "rebuild" and charge about $6 or $7.
The "rebuild" simply consists of a new rubber grommet, a valve stem core, a retaining nut, and a valve stem cap, like you see below:

So.....it's not really "rebuilding" the guts of the sensor at all.
There's really no way to do anything to the internals of the sensor - at least it's not designed to have any work done on the inside.
There are a couple guys in the C5 section that replace the batteries in C5 sensors, but I'm not sure what the rate of good success is with the procedure. Below is a link to a 4-part video if you want to see how they do it:
