Default Non oxygenated fuel for Corvette LS3 engine

Living in Northern Minnesota, there are alot of gas stations that offer 92 non oxygenated gas for boats, atvs, motorcycles, etc. Why can't we use this for our Vettes? I have to leave the gas station and find another one that offers 91 premium oxygenated gas with 10% ethanol. I guess I am just curious why I shouldn't use the non oxygenated gas. Thanks for your expertise.

I think it is a federal law that all gas for on-road vehicles has to be oxygenated (that doesn't mean you have to buy it). Also ethanol can be terrible for vehicles that sit for long periods of time because it can build up a sludge which has been blamed for hydrolocking motors.
