This is for those that don't have the "easy tap" or just don't want to use it. The plastic tab at the rear of the manifold is a pain to break off so you can use it as a vacuum source. Until now. I found a simple solution(actually my wife suggested it). Bend a small "J" at the end of a wire coat hanger and use the "J" as a pair of fingers. Pull up and it pops right off. Remember !!! You don't want the entire "T" to break off, so be absolutely sure that you're pulling on the right part. Breaking off the correct part of the "T" will look like an "l" when you're done. Took me about 5 seconds after I bent the coat hanger.

Just placed my order and realized afterwards that there are two sites.

One is the link from the very first post. (http://qpcpv.tripod.com/topflightrep...ions/id19.html) the other is the topflightrepro site.

They look similar, both have drop down box with LS2/LS3 adjustable start mode option. However, the topflightrepro site says it comes with the EZ tap, as you indicated in your post. The other doesn't say weather its included or not. I placed my order via the original link in the first post. Are they in fact the same thing? Will I get the EZ tap by using the tripod.com site?

Can you post a link to the install instructions? The ones on your website go to a dead page. I need this but want to better understand the install before I pull the trigger. Thanks!

Here are some alternate methods, post 14 shows a no drill method behind tail light. I plan on using it, IF my kit ever gets here.

Just ordered mine today for my 05 base. I already installed 2009 Z06 NPP mufflers, so this will help me complete the job.

Use what the PRO's use - Thanks to LG, ECS, Vette Doctors, Corvettes of Westchester, Corvettes of Houston and the many other Chevy Dealers for choosing this system to install in their customers cars, they demand the best and so should you. If you have any concerns or questions about the quality or ease of installation feel free to call them an see why NPP in a box is their choice.

VetteDoctors (Carmen) “Your NPP system is the best on the market. Very easy to install & your service is second to none.”
East Cost Supercharging(Chris) “We installed one last week and I must say the product was very well put together and a smooth install.. Thanks”
Corvettes of Westchester(Chuck) "I can't say enough about the NPP in a box PRODUCT! The kits are first rate! EVERYONE wants them! PRICE IS AWESOME!
SHIPPING IS ALMOST INSTANT! What more could you want!?!?"

1. The vacuum source off the motor had to be extremely simple to get. No removing coil packs or trying to access the back of the plenum and break off the unused vacuum line. It does not use the booster supply, so no worry there. On the LS2 /LS3 it will take you less than 5 min to install the vacuum tap (no tools needed) our innovation, approved and tested at vette doctors.

2. Want innovations, I did not just copy the GM system. I developed a 100% new system where the control is no bigger than a box of Twinkies. All parts are enclosed in the box (no separate controller to install) and will be located 100% in the car (rear storage hatch) with both the wireless control and the vacuum controls safely housed inside so you have no weather issues. The power supply is in a heavy double shielded cable, 5 min no tools and nothing to pop off or remove.

3. Includes everything needed, you just supply the exhaust. You just install the vacuum tap, run the provided vacuum line from the motor to the rear, run and install the provided power harness, install the control box and hook up the vacuum lines. The whole system will draw less than ½ amp, have zero drain with the car off and start either open or close. It is not designed to work with the car2u visor yet but will have Mild2Wild built in or ask about a custom unit with a foot switch.

4.Designed to work with both the B&B and the GM NPP system that are installed in a retrofit configuration.

How much is this and is anyone using this that can comment. Bit of an older thread with newer comments. Thanks! Looking at needing to add NPP to a non NPP C6. Thanks!
