2008 Z51 w LS3 6 speed and I am considering a supercharger. Minor mods so far (K&N air intake and Borla Stinger's w/ X pipe). Should a guy go with the Vortech/AA Supercharger kit or the P-1SC Procharger kit? Both seem to be in the same dollar range and require little to no bottom-end upgrades.
I have a Vortech/A&A V-2 si on my 2007. My experience with this supercharger has been great. Great drivability until you want the big power. My belt still looks brand new. I have about 25,000 supercharged miles since the install. Whichever way you go, make sure you find a good installer (unless you do it yourself) and tuner. The right installer/tuner can be as important as the right supercharger. Mine was installed and tuned at A&A. I will let others chime in about Procharger, but I think the A & A kit is tough to beat for quality, design and reliability.
Should have put numbers, they are still capable up to around 800whp with a built block. That is more than enough for any street car. They actually supply bigger chargers than I was thinking originally thinking. Anyone shooting for the 1000hp range will not be able to hit it with their supplied charger though.
I have installed many A&A Superchargers and they fit perfectly. I installed one on my own 2008 Corvette M6 and put down 627 rwhp and 545 ft-lbs. Drives like stock while cruising and is a blast at WOT. Still get over 30 mpg on the highway and zero issues. Feel free to contact me and we can discuss the blower kit for your Vette.

Local shop just put an ECS kit on my friends 2006 LS2 vette. All it has is kooks headers and the base ECS kit. Stock dyno was 352rwhp, after headers/ECS made 567rwhp on a safe tune. Fit and finish was top notch.
