when I blew my engine Sunday I got oil all over the filter for my Vram intake. How do you clean that sucker?

should I replace my engine mounts with the new polly mounts?

It might not work on the very first try but the standard K&N filter cleaner (and subsequent light re-oiling of course) should still get it done:

I wouldn't, just brand new OEM/stock rubber mounts should be fine.

I cleaned my filter when it was full of oil with a pressure washer. It got all the oil and dirt out. Just let it dry afterwards, and reoil it if you need to with filter oil.

Thanks guys! I am trying get all these parts lined up so I get my car back on the road ASAP. I did order a P-fadt rear transmission mount, I was told it helps control wheel hop. Any other suggestions would be great guys!!!!!

Just curious. What were your mods and what do you think led to your motor's demise?

My mods are listed below and either a piston or the rod failed on #7. I removed the valve covers and I did not drop any valves
