Help: C6 Z06 Transmission cable.

Hi.

I had an accident removing the stock exhaust to installa Magnaflow exhaust system. I must have accidently damaged a connector going into the passenger side of the transmission. Can anyone help me with what this connector is?

Damaged connector in red cirle. Second picture is of the damaged connector on my 07 Z06.

looks like the CAGS or reverse lock out solonoid..

CAGS is on the other side near the fill plug. That one may be the reverse lockout. Check and see if you can put it in reverse with the engine off...if so, reverse solenoid is not working.

I was able to put it back together. Some pieces of plastic fell off, but seems to be holding together fine. Sealed it off with glue to prevent water to come in and put it back. Everything seems to be working fine now.

You should be fine with that repair. Silicone would have been better. That is the reverse switch for the back up lights.
