Default Questions on headers

I found a set of headers for a really good price but they are for a z06 LS7, I have a 2011 Grandsport LS3 A6. Can anyone tell me if these headers will fit my car? Thanks in advance

They'll fit but you may need to cut & weld at the axle. Most zo6 headers run a 3" mid pipe and I believe the GS's have a 2.5 " midpipe.

or you could buy z06 mufflers and then the 3" pipe will bolt right up to the muffler

They will fit fine except for where it connects to the axleback. Your stock axleback is is 2.5". The Z06 one is 3".

Depends on the headers too..

If it is one of our Pro or Super Pro kits all you would need to do is change the front 02 extensions (Z06's are shorter), and the two pipes after the X to mate to your muffler system.

A 3" over the axle from a Z06/ZR1 will go as well, but getting around the automatic takes some work and you might have to dent the mufflers slightly.
