Default 11.47 @ 122mph at Infineon with PICS!

We purposefully tried to stay under 11.5 because I do not have a 5-point cage.

Mods are AFR 205;s, 224/224 115, vararam, stock LS2 intake, stock converter, Hoosier's on 17" C5Z wheels, 18" front wheels, ARH 1 3/4", Corsa Sports, stock UDP, etc.

I have a Fast 102mm intake and a 3800 2.5STR FTI converter going in soon.

as is, 420/420 unlocked. Hopefully I can take it back to the track with the Fast 102 and torque converter before I leave to go overseas. I'll have to run at Sac Raceway because the cars been "kicked out" from Infineon Raceway due to the lack of a 5-point cage

What's a good 5-point cage for the C6 chassis?

So 122mph was on the brakes?

Just making sure I understand correctly.

Correct! thesubfloor was hitting the brakes at the end of the run for two reasons: to get as close to the 11.5 dial in and to not go faster than 11.499 due to the lack of the roll cage.

So, he did hit the brakes on the 11.47 run. The car was super consistent and seemed to be getting faster as the day went on.

He was leaving at only 1000 RPM on all launches on the stock converter. We're pretty sure that we could of had at least a 11.3xx run if not faster with more time tuning.

I'm thinking of this one too. I just found out that there's a forum sponsor that sells them here in Vacaville. I'm not sure if it's RSD or a vendor that sells RSD's products, but they're local!

FireFighter,
We are located in Vacaville. We can help you out with all your safty needs. We are the Manufacturer of the only NHRA Legal Bolt-in Roll Bars for the C5 & C6 Corvettes.
They come with Swing out & Removable door bars. We make 5 points and 6 points. They are Chrome moly and only add 42 lbs to your car.

Ok, glad to hear it...I was wondering why the MPH was so low.

When will you get back out and run it all out to see what it can do? Won't the track give you a slip and tell you not to run anymore if you do one all out pass at the end of the night?

122MPH is 10.90 territory with a decent 60ft. (1.50's)

If you were on the brakes @122... you definitely have a solid 10-sec ride there.

I have no doubt that the fast 102 and TC sitting in my garage will get the job done. I just need to find the time to install the parts and buy some rear drag wheels/tires.

Nice pics, and Christopher's car is always fun to watch make some passes.

True, but that sixty foot is going to be key and he of course won't see 1.5s (maybe not even 1.6s) on the stock stall.

The converter alone should get you into 10s but along with the FAST intake it will drive the point home even harder.

Not sure how hard it leaves but my 05vert went 10.78@122.48(not on the brakes) so far my best MPH has been 124.33 and I have run10.78-10.90 about 25 run so I'm sure you have the power to go 10s if u can get a good 60 and 330 time

Yes, The NHRA Rule book. We developed this Roll Bar with guidance from several NHRA Inspectors, including Ken Gentry from the NHRA Chassis committee. no roll bar or roll cage can be documented until it is installed. There has not been any RSD Roll Bars installed that did not pass tech. The key is install it correctly as per the instructions.
