You are a life saver. Can't thank you enough. Looks like that will work. I knew I was going to replace the top, but figured (wrong) that the post would remain unchanged.

I understand that it has been 10 years since you posted this but I am having to change my top on my 08 Vert and really appreciate the time you took to post pictures and descriptions at will help me do mine. Probably would have forgot the protector pieces and invented a few new swear words so yo saved me from that. Thank you
