Default 2006 Corvette A6 H/C/I LS2 Dyno

Been playng around with this car for close to a year. The car is a 2006 Corvette convertible LS2 with an A6 auto transmission.

The car has 2.56 rear gears and is a blast to drive.

Additions

- Comp cam 223/231 610/617 112
- Fast 102 unported with a stock 90mm LS2 T/B
- LS3 Injectors 41lb
- TFS 220's BTR untouched other than milled to 63cc for 11.1 comp
- Johnson 2110 Lifters
- Yank ss3600 stall
- 1 3/4 LG Headers and catted x pipe
- Corsa Exhaust.

This is a dyno dynamics dyno pull with 12.5 afr and 24 degrees of timing max. The converter was locked.

This was the first dyno a couple years back with the converter locked. This was all mods with the exception of the TFS 220'S

This was a second dyno last June which was more for Tranny tuning. The converter was unlocked and all modifications except TFS 220'S.

Nice! I bet the 3600 stall makes that thing a blast to drive!

The car is very fun to drive. With a larger cam I'm confident the car would have made closer to 500whp which is quite the feat for an auto.

Nice numbers there. Looks like that could be a 10 second car.

The locked vs unlocked converter appears to be ~30 HP difference with a 3600 stall. People don't understand that concept. I lost 17 HP on the dyno and dropped .15 seconds off my 1/4 mi time when I swapped from a 3600 to a 4000 stall.

The car with stock heads had run 7.13 @ 95mph

If I was racing the car I'd jump to a 4000 converter and swap the cam. It's mainly a street driven car. The 3600 is all I would ever want in its current usage.

It's amazing how far converter technology has improved over the years.

Thanks for the kind words.
