I'm anxious to hear back from Doug@ECS with regards to that exact aspect of it.
The money back guarantee is nice and I really appreciate the offer, but I would still have to remove the drivetrain again and send the clutch back and pick something else out if for some reason I didn't like it.
I still have about 2 weeks before pulling the trigger so there's still time for research and anecdotal evidence to surface.
Lol I won't make the track rental but I'll be there in spirit. I just dumped a lot of money and time in this Mantic so I'm trying to hold out and perfect the launch with it.
I have solid trans mounts but I think I'm going to switch back to the OEM ones. The car wants to leave hard now and dead hook, then about 40 ft out it starts to wheel hop pretty badly. It never did that before and the only thing I changed was the clutch and the mounts... I figure the mounts are the easier of the 2 to swap

Very interesting.
Does your warranty apply to someone like me who frequents the dragstrip year round? Last year I made 205 passes with 150 of them being on the stock clutch.
What are the differences in the stage 1 and 2? I'll be right around 650/650 on the nitrous (currently i'm 580/550 with the baby shot) and with the frequent dragstrip use, would it be more advisable to opt for the stage 2 or should the stage 1 suffice?
What is the up-charge for the lighter flywheel?
Lastly, does the clutch come with a new slave or is it just the flywheel and clutch assembly.
Also, do yours require any shimming of the slave or are they guaranteed to fit?

Just a thought. Can you collect on your guaranty, buy the clutch that you have inquired about, take the proceeds and join us at MIR? We'll even help you get that new PB.
This is deal is for you specifically, not an open invitation to everyone, sorry.

Unfortunately I think you're going to have to wait a little longer and nobody hates that more than me.
There is something in the works that I don't want to divulge until a later time but stay tuned. This could get interesting

Very interested in this thread . . . about to pull my stage 3+ and am looking at RST, Mantic, and Katech LS9R. I have a 427 w/ cam and bolt-ons. The Stage 3+ is just too tough to drive all the time, my left leg is twice the size of my right with the TM installed, LOL. Anyway, very interested in the results and if anyone has a TM installed with their new clutch. Really would like more of a stock feel. Thanks, good thread.

Mantic all the way. I beat the snot out of mine on the 200 shot and it never gave me an issue. Great pedal feel, slips as much as you want it, doesn't argue.
I only wish they made one for my new car

My experience with east coast supercharging was a very good one...just moved to new jersey and bought my first corvette. A 560 rwhp c6 z06 lg big cam and bolt ons. After months on the forum i brought the car to east coast, because i was afraid stock injectors might be working to hard. They drove the car with the laptop hooked up and showed me the most injectors was running was 80%...(even with the car going into redline)...I asked how much and they said dont worry about it...could not believe it...So i believe what they say...cause i know they are not money hungry grubs...I would have payed at least 200 for them checking the car. I plan on dumping at least another 15,000 into this car...I suspect they will be doing alot of the work and parts..

I've got a McLeod RXT and I haven't been very happy with it. It's loud at idle with the clutch peddle out and also under power. It chatters a lot too. I called the McLeod company and they tell me that this is not normal. McCleod referred me to an "experienced" shop and I need to find time to take it in. It's about 3 hours away is the only problem. Currently, my clutch is unacceptable.

My Katech LS9X just took a 1.499 60' , and I think it might be good for a 1.46 with 5000-5500 RPM launches. Car drives just like a stock LS7 clutch too No rattle, no b.s.

Joe, no scans unfortunetly
The staging lights were flickering from my buddies shallow stage, and the ambers counting down caught me by surprise LOL. I had to bring the RPM's up quickly, and my desire was for a 5000 RPM launch...but I think I was somewhere around 4500 or so when I let the clutch go. As usual, Ranger method of aggressive clutch engagement (but not a drop ) for the first 10 feet or so....then WOT

Is it still for sale?
Yep, the 'R' version is identical to the stock ZR1 disc assembly but the pressure plate has been re-designed for 20% more bite (and pedal pressure) by the OEM parts manufacturer.
I'm actually doing the opposite right now -- going from the 'R' pressure plate assembly to the 'X' version. Decided I'd rather have a lighter pedal than the extra holding power. My drivetrain has to come out soon, so I figured I'd just do it. I'll most likely be selling the LS9R pressure plate/disc assembly for a really good price if you're interested. Has maybe 1000 miles on it.
