2012 GS A6 Xpipe question

Hello all,

My friend is looking to sell his headers, and wanted to re-install a stock exhaust system.

Question:
Will a 2008 M6 LS3 xpipe bolt on his 2012 GS A6?

I believe some things changed in 2009 that will not allow a direct fit.
