Need pics of dry sump LS3/LS7 areas
In the middle of swapping a dry sump LS3 into a 2005 LS2 and have noticed several differences already. Could any of you dry sump LS3/:S7 guys find some pics of the following areas for me? I need how to figure out how to mount all harnesses and tubing.
Need pics of the following:
1. Cam position sensor. LS2 has 2 bolts on the bracket, LS3 only has one at the sensor itself
2. Tranny cooler lines towards the front. LS2 has a bolt/bracket just above front leaf spring on passenger side of block. LS3 has no bolt hole.
3. How do the dry sump oil lines get routed from the tank to the block. Need to figure out how to keep away from the header heat. Please take several pics of both termination points if possible.
4. The rear of each head. LS2 has a block that bolts in to plug coolant. LS3 appears not to have a hole in the rear of the head, just a threaded hole. Are the LS3 heads left and right hand? ***got my answer on this one, thanks Justin***
Here are a couple pics of what I'm in the middle of...

Looking good Sean.
I don't know how much help I can be, but from what I remember, the oil lines from the tank to the block just shoot straight over and run along the direction of the leaf spring. I remember seeing a picture somewhere but this is what I remember.

I'm most concerned with how close the oil lines come to the headers. I guess I will fit in up in the next couple days to see for myself

I can and may be forced to at this point. The oil lines touch the headers. Started another thread to get help on this issue.

Another question.
The LS3 dry sump has threaded holes at the top and bottom of the tank. Does anybody know what and where these mount to? Pics would be great so I can figure out how to make a bracket.

Pics, anybody? I've searched for hours with no puck. Need a pic of a dry sump LS3 or LS7 with the front passenger fender off...
