Remove the oil filter & dump the oil out of the filter, reinstall filter start engine repeat as needed.

I agree that it probably won't damage the engine, but what about the cost of the extra quart he doesn't need?

I've seen screw ups on dry sumps, but not on wet sumps. (other than dropping car off lift, not getting filter tight and others)

Pretty sad out there!

The question is will it damage my new c7 with only 550 miles with three extra quarts installed for ten miles???
7+3=100 quarts installed altogether.............................

Yeah it is,d really you cant cant anything done right. I had an oil change and they installed three more quarts then I needed what will happen to my c7 I am po...d.....will it hurt the engine drove only seven to ten miles,thx

Great job and very wise decision OP. On most things you cannot go wrong with the manufacturers suggestion. If you are going to err, err on the safe side. This is why i buy my cars new, that way i know it has not been raped, abused or mistreated. There are too many out there that always know better than the engineers that designed these cars and especially the very expensive state of the art engines. PS don't ever think that dealers will do things right, that is more of a rarity than the rule. Always , watch, verify and double check, better yet learn to do the simple things like changing oil yourself after all no cares about your car more than you.

Yes, 100 quarts of oil will damage your engine....

Yep. Oil smoke is usually blue. No farther then he went I think it will be ok.
