That is exciting. Do you guys have the weight of the coilover system? There's little to no weight savings from removing the leaf springs, but I'd hate to see that these add additional weight to the car.

^ indeed. Especially given you can see Z51 suspension and recoup a good portion of the expense of the coilovers.

Patrick, does QA1 offer a drag-race setup for guys like me who daily drive their cars, but also frequent the track? I'd love the idea of rolling around on coilovers and adjusting them at the track, then adjust them back and drive home.

I sure as hell hope it is. Otherwise, why pay for coilovers? You can get adjustable stocks and lowering bolts and save a lot of $$.

Look at the threads on the picture in the OP, you can see the adjustment there.

Is this a true standalone coilover setup or an adjustable shock with a spring that just replaces the stock shock (and still uses the stock leaf spring)?

For once, a mention of a lightweight product then the vendor provides the actual weights. Love it! Hmmm, if only the shocks were inverted I'd be on it like white on rice.

With the mention of various spring rates one would assume you yank the leaf springs out.

Last bullet says it will lower the vehicle. As Justin mentioned look at the shock/thread design. It clearly allows for adjustments.

I can't imagine it being anything other than a traditional coilover system. Leaf springs will be removed, this will replace the existing shocks and provide a single adjustment at the shock, and also ride height adjustment via the spring dial.

interesting, I've been considering the swap to coilovers and that's a pretty reasonable price.

^ same. If these are good quality, they will definitely sell. (PS, a small part of me hopes it'll bring the price of Pfadts down too )

There was at least one coilover setup on the market that retains the stock leaf springs and replaces the stock shock with an adjustable coilover.

I think he meant that it has the ability to lower the vehicle.

Callaway/Eibachs is the only system that does this.

I hope that's what they actually mean and that it's not that the whole assembly is 'shorter' or something?
As in, one can still run the stock (or higher) ride height even with these installed if desired.

How low will these go? I currently have the stock bolts all the way down and there is still fender gap. Will these allow you to slam it the way the pfadt and lg gt2s do?

The info on the QA1 web site says:

Note: This coil-over system will lower the Corvette at least 1.5” lower than stock. Not designed for stock ride height.
