Default tire pressure for quarter mile

I know its gonna spin. I have 600 to the wheels with invo's , so what should I run for tire pressure.

With 600rwhp and Invo's, you might as well run 30psi. You already know you'll need to have a soft launch, easy shifts, and a gentle application of WOT regardless of tire pressure.

You probably know, you're pretty much wasting your time with Invos on the drag strip. Best I can get is 2.0's, I've got a bit of practice under my belt and much less horsepower.

I'd be worried about breaking traction mid-track with those tires. Remember the golden word, when in doubt, get out.

It really will make NO noticeable difference.. if you get DR then worry about tire pressure.. but with street tires, and 600 hp just baby it out .. you will be lucky to see anything better than 2.00 !

just got back, yup she spun . I knew it would. I dropped the pressure down to 23 lbs.and peddled her thru the 1st 1/8 mile then floored it It went 11.35 at 129 with A 1.90 60ft. RT was .019 and 105mph in the 1/8

+1 for being careful. I've seen a handful of vettes do 360s at our track with moderate power and street tires.

Put some 315 mickeys on there and go nuts

Just to show how much the big HP needs something beyond street tires, I ran a best of 11.44 with a 1.74 60' on Invos with my ~400 HP C6. I had run in the 11.0x range and 1.5x 60's with DR and similar air just a couple weeks prior.

You have far more power than those tires can handle.
