If your car is stock just get a remanufactured unit from GM. It comes with a 3 year warranty, and will have all the latest updates.

I do use the paddle shift often, even more with it slipping,

might check on the one from GM, found RPMTransmissions has it(Their own) and several shops around can install it.

No C7 for me, I have the Vette I want and modded just like I like it!

I went down the aftermarket road because of 680 RWHP. It was a painfull expensive road. If i were stock i would just get the GM rebuild for a 1/4 of the price of aftermarket units. Good luck.

We're in Richmond and can help you out with a few different options as well as offering a one year warranty regardless of how you drive the car.

Have you had the transmission serviced? Might just be a clogged filter or bad fluid.
