Default Clicking sound when applying brakes

My new vette GS has a clicking sound when I press the brake pedal. It sounds like a relay. Does anyone know of this issue with there cars. thanks

yea, its the brake relay in the passenger kick panel fuse box area. normal.

there is a topic if you hate the sound, how some have put deadening over the relay to help.

fyi... i havent looked up the part number so yours might not have the number 12193602 on it

a quick parts lookup came up with 7 possible for a 2012, no need to research much more you get the idea where to look and what it looks like. lol here is 7 , yours is bound to have one of them...

Thanks again great information. I'll see were I can get some dynamat. Maybe Pepboys. Its under the floor of my 55 chevy but I'm not digging into that. thnaks again

not to highjack your thread, but here is the 55 i had back in 1969. took before going to army, thats the now wife, yes we were young once... lol

Default relay in RF floor fuse box

some wrap sound deadening material (dynamat) but it is normal.

Yes, I used black 'HushMat' (same as Dynamat), and can't even tell it's wrapped. Zero noise now. If you put your head near the glove box you can still hear it, but it's 90% less. For practical purposes, problem solved . And yes, wanted to do the same to the reverse solenoid, but it's under that cover with a bolt in the middle, and didn't want to mess with it.

I strongly suggest this very cheap 'mod', so passengers don't ask why your expensive sports car sounds that cheap .
